A new desktop system is an AMD-powered unit designed for network service applications. Supporting the AMD Embedded G-Series SOC chipset, the PL-80740 from Win Enterprises can be guaranteed for extended product availability. The AMD G-Series SOC achieves superior performance per watt in the low-power x86 microprocessor class of products when running multiple industry standard benchmarks. The G-Series delivers an exceptional HD multimedia experience while supporting a heterogeneous computing platform for parallel processing. A choice of two AMD G-Series processors is provided: the  AMD GX-412TC QC 1.0GHz or the AMD GX-416RA QC 1.6GHz.

The platform supports onboard DDR3L 1GB memory up to a maximum of 2GB. The device is equipped with storage interfaces that include a 2.5” SATA HDD and CompactFlash™. For networking utility, the PL-80740 is equipped with 8 Copper GbE, USB 2.0 ports, RJ-45 console port. A mini-card socket with LED indicators enable users to monitor power and storage device activity. Other Features include a maximum 8 GbE ports via PCI-e by1, expansive I/O with USB 2.0; 2.5” SATA HDD bay, CF socket, mini-PCIe slot and Console port and RoHS compliance.

WIN Enterprises will work with electron OEMs modify this COTS design to more specific specifications when ordered in standard OEM or above quantities. The use of embedded components enables WIN Enterprises to guarantee available for up to seven years.
